Anna Karpekin recreated a playful kiosk-like image for her exhibition K I O S K at the POKY – Institute. It refers to her idea and memory of the kiosk within different locations and imaginations. At the interface between drawing and sculpture she uses three-dimensional lines to translate associative connections made on paper into a spatial experience. Thereby she raises questions about the exhibition and image space as a playful framing. By gently transforming POKY’s architecture with a presice adjustment, her work challenges the viewer to take a different point of view and engage with the exhibition space in a new manner.
